The entire chair weighs just 29.32 lbs (13.3 kg) with the battery installed. Remove the 9.7 lbs (4.4 kg) lithium battery and the frame weighs under 20 lbs, light enough for most adults to lift. Pull the center release bar to fold the frame in seconds. Once folded, it stands upright on its own, so one person can fold, lift, and load it into a sedan trunk without assistance.

The AeroLite can travel up to 13 miles (21 km) on flat terrain for a user around 180 lbs. Actual range varies with user weight, terrain, speed, and temperature. The 13Ah lithium battery charges in approximately 6–8 hours and detaches from the frame, allowing you to charge it indoors while the chair remains in your car or hotel room. A spare battery can also be purchased for longer trips.

The detachable 13Ah lithium-ion battery is rated below the 300Wh airline limit and is generally compliant with IATA air-travel requirements. At 29.32 lbs total, the AeroLite is suitable for gate checking on many flights. Airline policies vary, so contact your carrier before traveling. The lithium battery should be removed and carried in your carry-on luggage rather than checked in the hold.

The seat combines breathable mesh fabric with high-density foam padding to stay cool and supportive during extended use. The padded armrests flip up for easier lateral transfers, the footrest is height-adjustable, and the backrest angle can be fine-tuned for a comfortable sitting position. The AeroLite supports up to 220 lbs (100 kg). Carbon fiber has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than aluminum and steel and resists bending, deformation, and fatigue under repeated stress. The frame is reinforced at high-stress joints and has passed drop and impact testing. Its 34.25-inch turning radius also helps it navigate standard doorways, narrow hallways, and tight corners.

The AeroLite uses a 220W brushless DC motor. With no physical brushes to wear down, it offers quieter operation, a longer service life, improved energy efficiency, and smoother acceleration than a traditional brushed motor. The 220W output is designed to handle moderate inclines, ramps, carpets, and everyday indoor or outdoor surfaces.

The chair arrives mostly assembled. You only need to attach the joystick controller and footrests, which typically takes 10–15 minutes using the included manual.
