My street in Milan is cobblestone — every step was a gamble with a cane. The Flex Pro'sfront suspension absorbs the cobblestoneslike they're not there. The350W motorclimbs the hill to Castello Sforzesco without bogging down. At$899, I paid less than my neighbor's monthly parking spot — and I can actually get to the castle now.

My Copenhagen apartment is50 square metersand I refused to sacrifice a room to a wheelchair. The Flex Profolds in three secondsandstands upright like a suitcase— it lives in the corner of my hallway. At74.96 poundsit's heavier than the carbon models, but the $899 price left money for a folding ramp. Smart trade.

I live on a hill in Zurich and tested three chairs before this one. The350W motor climbs my 12-degree streetwithout bogging down.PU flat-free tiresmean I'll never call a repairman for a puncture.$899 with a 20Ah battery— I couldn't find anything comparable under $1,500 in Switzerland. Five months, zero issues.

I bought this for my 81-year-old mother. The20Ah battery lasts an entire week— groceries, pharmacy, Sunday park, all on one charge Monday morning. ThePU tires have survived Lisbon's cobblestonesfor five months without a flat. For$899, this chair gave my mother her independence back and gave me peace of mind.
FAQ
What makes the Flex Pro different from ZENBON's other electric wheelchairs?
The Flex Pro is our most affordable electric wheelchair at $899 — but it is not a stripped-down budget chair. It shares the same aluminum alloy frame, 350W motor, 20Ah battery, and 13-mile range as higher-priced models. The brushed motor is slightly noisier than our brushless models, and it uses a standard folding mechanism without motorized folding or reclining. You still get front suspension, PU flat-free tires, a smart LCD controller, and electromagnetic brakes — features that competing brands often charge much more for. If you want maximum value without sacrificing the essentials, this is the one.
Does it really have front suspension at this price?
Yes. The Flex Pro has a front suspension spring system that absorbs shocks and vibrations from curbs, sidewalk cracks, cobblestones, and uneven pavement. Many electric wheelchairs under $1,000 use rigid frames with no suspension, so you feel every bump. The Flex Pro suspension makes a real difference on rough urban terrain and gravel paths. Combined with the breathable mesh seat, which distributes pressure better than solid plastic, most users can enjoy comfortable rides for 2–3 hours without needing to shift position.
How far can it go on a full charge?
Up to 13 miles (21 km) on flat terrain for a user around 165 lbs. The 20Ah lithium battery charges in 6–8 hours and detaches from the frame by pulling a release lever, so you can charge it indoors overnight without bringing the whole chair inside. For many users, one charge covers several everyday errands such as grocery runs, doctor visits, and park outings. The smart LCD controller shows the battery level in real time, helping you plan your trip with confidence.
How fast does it fold? Can one person load it into a car?
The frame folds in about 3 seconds — pull the seat rail upward and the chair collapses width-wise. Folded dimensions are 28.74″ × 24.41″ × 12.60″ (73 × 62 × 32 cm). The frame weighs 74.96 lbs (34 kg) without the battery, and the detachable battery weighs 9.26 lbs (4.2 kg). Removing the battery before lifting makes loading easier. The folded frame stands upright on its own like a suitcase and fits in the trunk of most sedans and SUVs. Because of its weight, users with limited lifting ability may need assistance.
What are PU flat-free tires? Will I ever need to pump or replace them?
PU (polyurethane) flat-free tires are solid, rubber-like tires that never need air and cannot be punctured like pneumatic tires. They eliminate the risk of flats caused by glass, nails, or sharp gravel. The trade-off is a slightly firmer ride than air-filled tires, but the Flex Pro front suspension absorbs much of the impact. They require very little maintenance, although all tires can eventually wear and should be inspected periodically.
Is the 350W motor powerful enough for hills and daily terrain?
The 350W motor handles most daily terrain, including sidewalks, carpet, grass, gravel, and ramps or moderate inclines within the product specifications. It is more powerful than the 220W motors used in our premium lightweight models, with the trade-off that the Flex Pro is heavier. Electromagnetic braking engages when you release the joystick, helping hold the chair in place even on slopes or if power is interrupted. The 37.40-inch turning radius also helps with doorways, hallways, and elevators.
What does the smart controller LCD display show?
The smart controller LCD displays the battery level, speed, and operating status. The joystick is responsive and intuitive: push forward to move ahead, pull back to reverse, and move it side to side to turn. Most users learn the controls within 5–10 minutes. The controller also includes a horn and speed adjustment for indoor or outdoor use. If the battery runs out, the wheelchair can be placed in manual push mode so an attendant can move it by hand.
Does it come assembled? What about warranty?
The chair arrives mostly pre-assembled. You only need to attach the joystick controller and footrests, which usually takes 10–15 minutes; a manual is included. No special tools are required for basic setup, and the height-adjustable footrests can be set to your preferred position. ZENBON covers eligible manufacturing defects on the frame, motor, and battery under our Warranty Policy. Returns are accepted within the period specified in our Return & Refund Policy. We recommend contacting support first so we can troubleshoot before initiating a return.
